1
You know Mr. Sakai is coming at ten o' clock, don't you, Jenny?'
2
Yes I do. It’s an important meeting, isn't it!
3
And the slides are ready, aren't they?
4
Yes, they are.
5
And you have checked the monitor, haven't you?
6
Yes, Kate, I have.
7
Sorry. Jenny, it really is very important.
8
Good morning.
9
Hello, Don.
10
Is everything ready for the big day?
11
I think so.
12
Don, I'm worried about the last part of the presentation.
13
Can we talk?
14
Thank you very much for collecting me.
15
It's a pleasure. Don't mention it. Is your hotel okay?
16
Yes thanks. It's fine.
17
It is good of you to visit us. Thank you for sparing the time.
18
I know you have a busy itinerary.
19
It's a pleasure, Mr. Harris. I enjoy coming to Britain.
20
And I am looking forward to my visit to Bibury Systems.
21
It’s kind of you to say so. We'll do our best to make your visit worth while.
22
You're seeing Phil Watson at twelve o'clock about the display unit design.
23
Do you understand the problem?
24
No, I don't.
24-1
These are the rough designs.
25
Choosing the right colours is very important.
26
Sorry, could you explain what you mean?
27
Well, we need different colours.
28
Ah, do you mean stronger colours?
29
Yes, I do. This display unit must make an impact.
30
It's very important. It must look right for the launch.
31
It must look exciting.
32
I understand.
33
Well, make sure that Phil understands.
34
Also these pictures of Big Boss need to be bigger...
35
So, we aren't a very big company... but I think we are very efficient.
36
How many people do you employ?
37
About seven hundred full-time.
38
But we take on casual staff when we need them.
39
Would you like some more coffee, Mr. Sakai?
40
No thank you. And, please, call me Kazo.
41
And you must call me Clive. So, shall we have a look around?
42
That would be very nice.
43
Then perhaps we could have some lunch.
44
And then after lunch some of my senior managers will make a presentation to you.
45
Would you like to leave your coat and briefcase here?
46
Thank you.
47
And this is our Sales and Marketing Department.
48
I don't think you have met Kate McKenna. She is Head of Sales.
49
How do you do?
50
Kazo Sakai, let me give you my card.
51
Thank you.
52
And this is Don Bradley.
53
Hello, Mr. Sakai. We have spoken on the phone.
54
Hello, Mr. Bradley. You are American.
55
And what part of America are you from?
56
Los Angeles. But I have lived in the UK for five years. I like ...
57
I have visited ... I'm sorry.
58
No, please, after you.
59
I have been to Los Angeles two or three times.
1
60
It's an interesting city.
61
Well, I hope we have a chance to talk again.
62
Yes, you'll be seeing Don at the presentation this afternoon.
63
I look forward to that.
64
Edward?
65
Yes.
66
Hi, Edward.
67
Hello.
68

69
Have you been waiting long?
70
